By purchasing or selling to Taylor Made Trading Company, LLC (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us" or "our"), you agree to the terms outlined in the legal notice. These apply to all transactions whether in person, in store or online. 

Online Sales, Shipping & Insurance

Price Correction: Due to rapid market fluctuations in gold and silver, we reserve the right to cancel or adjust any online order if an item was listed with an incorrect price or during a server lag.

Risk of Loss: All online purchases are shipped via insured carriers. Our liability ends and risk of loss passes to you, the moment the carrier marks the package as "shipped" or "delivered" to your specified address.

Signature Required: To prevent fraud, all online shipments valued over $250.00 require and adult signature upon delivery. We do not ship to PO Boxes or unverified addresses. 

 

Precious Metals & Coins Disclaimer

Market Volatility: Precious metals (gold, silver, platinum) and numismatic coins are subject to market volatility. All sales are final. Prices are subject to change without notice based on current spot prices. Due to changing spot prices, online orders for bullion, gold and silver coins cannot be canceled or returned once payment is confirmed. 

Investment Risk: Bullion products, collectable coins and currency are not guaranteed or insured by any governments agency, They can lose value. Past performance is not an indicator for future results. 

Grading and Authenticity: We guarantee the authenticity of all coins we sell. For third-party graded coins (PCGS, NCG), we defer to the grading company's opinion and warranty and we assume no liability for their grading discrepancies.

 

Jewelry & Gemstones Disclosure

Gemstone weight and Quality: All carat weight, clarity and color graded are approximate. We abide by the FTC Jewelry Guide for disclosing treatments, synthetics and precious metal content.

Hallmarks: We represent gold, silver and platinum items based on standard stamping. Items containing less then legal thresholds (eg., items marked with non-precious alloys) cannot be legally labeled or sold as precious metal under federal law.

Approved returns (at our discretion) within the 7 day window must be returned in the exact original condition. Any approved returned item is subject to a 20% restocking fee

 

Sports Memorabilia Authentication

All sports memorabilia and autographs are sold "as is"

We only accept or sell items accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) from reputable industry recognized authenticators (eg. PSA, JSA, Beckett)

We are not responsible for the opinion or rejections of third-party authenticators subsequent to your purchase from our store.

Buying (Selling to Us)

Identification Requirements: In compliance with MD BUS. Reg. 12-301 federal laws, all sellers must provide a valid government issued photo ID (eg., drivers license, passport) and their current address for every transaction. An electronic daily transaction report will be filed and/or forwarded to local law enforcement. A copy of the photo ID will be taken and held with paperwork required for local and federal laws. 

Licensed Operations: All commercial transactions involving in the in-person aquisition of secondhand gold, silver, platinum or jewelry are processed under our active regustration with the Maryland Department of Labor.

No Mail-Ins: We do not evaluate or purchase coins, jewelry or memorabilia through the mail. All appraisals and purchase must be conducted in person at a physical location. 

Cash Transaction Thresholds: In accordance with federal anti-money laundering (AML) laws and IRS regulations, cash payouts exceeding $10,000 require the completion of IRS Form 8300

Hold Periods: Items purchase from the public are subject to the secondhand dealer laws and are subject to a mandatory law enforcement hold period before items can be processed and resold. Minimum hold time of 18 day, can be extended by law enforcement.

We do NOT purchase regulated secondhand goods (gold, silver, jewelry) or any other goods from individuals under the age of 18 years old

By selling items to us, you legally warrant that you are the rightful owner of the items, they are free of any liens or encumbrances and that they were not acquired illegally. 

 

Digital Privacy & Security

Payment Security: We use encrypted, PCI complaint payment processors to handle online transactions. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers. 

Anti-Fraud Screening: We use automated fraud detection tools. We reserve the right to flag, delay or cancel any online transaction that shows high fraud risk signals. 

Maryland Sales and Use Tax (online): 

Bullion Tax Exemption: Online sales of qualifying precious metal bullion or numismatic coins delivered in the state of Maryland are exempt from the standard 6% state tax only if the transaction total exceeds $1000 per the updated Maryland State Legislature 2026 Tax Exemptions as of July 1, 2026

Taxable Goods: All sports memorabilia, retail jewelry and bullion orders under under $1000 are subject to the standard Maryland 6% tax, calculated at check out 

 

Limitation of Liability 

Our total liability for any claim arising from a transaction will not exceed the original purchase price of the item in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages
